FUNDACIÓN 13 AGUAS

In 1998, when Grupo Secacao started operations in Senahú, Alta Verapaz, it found that there were important local deficits in health, education, infrastructure, and other elements necessary to the adequate development of people and their communities. Fundación Trece Aguas was thus established, with the intention of collaborating actively and constantly towards the improvement of the Group’s social environment.

Today the companies that make up Grupo Secacao are the foundation’s main donors, but the foundation also has an increasingly large number of individual and corporate benefactors, both nationally and internationally. We invite donors and those interested in the wellbeing of Guatemalan rural communities to approach us and collaborate in our efforts.
